Generally we recommend due to traffic in Berlin public transportation system. If you arrive via plane a hospitality person of
ROWING Champions League will take care of you and will guide you to your hotel. In 2015 we have one Team Hotel to share the special Berlin experience together.

Friday 18th September
Because of the problems at european borders and late arrival of crews Weigh-in has been switched to Saturday evening. Friday Welcome Party starts at 19:00 in the team tent- 100 litres free beer.

Saturday 19th September
8am – 10am RCL training slots
(10am – 5pm Corporate and Para-Regattas)
Time for Berlin sightseeing
4pm – 6pm Time Trials ROWING Champions League
7pm „Nations Night“ – Party + Weigh in
The Nations Night is an „Oktoberfest“ with german food and beer and a tradition bavarian band. After feedback of last year we are pleased to offer this.

Sunday 20th September
7am – 8:30am training slots
9am – 12:00 pm RCL heats and ranking races
1:30pm – 2:00pm Semis RCL and finals
2:30pm RCL Prize Giving
2:45pm Interviews of all team captains
4:30pm ZDF TV „Sportschau“ – 6 minute RCL report segment on the major sport show on German TV. Huge coverage of population. Interviews will be conducted with a selection of the international crews – in English after the winning ceremony.

Station Warschauer Straße

The city train (S-Bahn) lines S3, S5, S7, S75 and S9 all stop at „Warschauer Straße“ station, as well as the subway line U1, bus numbers 347 and N1 and tramway lines M10 and M13. The station is connected to the O2 World by a pedestrian bridge.

East Central Station (Ostbahnhof)

The Mercedes-Benz Arena is located in the immediate vicinity of East Central Station. For your convenience it may be advisable to take the city train (S-Bahn) lines S3, S7, S5, S75 and S9 or bus number 140, 240, 347 or N40. There is a walkway leading from East Central Station to the Arena. Please follow the signs. Furthermore, East Central Station is connected to the regional (Regional Express RE1, RE2, RE7, RB14) and nationwide rail transport, as well as to the ICE high speed train network, to provide a fast and convenient journey from supra-regional places.
